Heterogeneous Impact of Land-Use on Climate Change: Study From a Spatial Perspective
نویسندگان
چکیده
Studies have shown that land and climate interact in complex ways through multiple biophysical biogeochemical feedbacks. In this interaction mechanism, the carbon fixation effect among different land-use types objective conditions regions significant gaps, leading to heterogeneous impact of on change. This study takes temperature change as observation index reflect change, analyzes process use type adjustment affecting vegetation cover Based data 214 countries from 1990 2018, paper uses spatial Durbin model with lag verify two dimensions (Agriculture, forestry their subdivision structure) region (latitude land-sea difference). The following conclusions are drawn: 1) is heterogeneous. agricultural not significant, but increase forest proportion will help restrain rise national temperature. 2) has regional heterogeneity. There heterogeneity sample latitudes. geographical differences make mechanism between island mainland also heterogeneity, mainly affected by structure neighboring countries. 3) A country’s both its own countries, latter more critical. provide helpful supplementary evidence for importance international cooperation a reference proposing initiatives address or establishing an convention

Impact of land use change on soil erodibility
Vulnerability of soil separates to detachment by water is described as soil erodibility by Universal Soil Loss Equation which can be affected by land use change. In this study it was attempted to quantify the changes of Universal Soil Loss Equation K-factor and its soil driving factors in three land uses including rangeland, rainfed farming, and orchards in Babolrood watershed, northern Iran. S...

A forest is a biotic community predominated by trees and woody vegetation that are signifi cantly taller, greater, thicker, and deeper than other vegetation types and generally covers a large area (Chang, 2003). Forests cover approximately 26.2% of the world, with 45.7% of Latin America and the Caribbean being covered, 35% of East Asia and the Pacifi c, and 35% of the European Union. Canada and...
متن کاملImpact of urban land cover change on land surface temperature
The rapid growth in urban population is seen to create a need for the development of more urban infrastructures. In order to meet this need, natural surfaces such as vegetation are been replaced with non-vegetated surfaces such as asphalt and bricks which has the ability to absorb heat and release it later. This change in land cover is seen to increase the land surface temperature. Previous stu...
متن کاملModelling Land use, Land-Use Change, and Forestry in Climate Change: A Review of major Approaches
The rapid development of climate policies and the need to understand the dynamics of climate change have highlighted and shaped the role of land use, land-use change and forestry dynamics (LULUCF), making it an issue of global importance. As a consequence, LULUCF has become a central topic in economic theory and in environmental sciences. The attention is focused on creating and expanding compr...
